Hauptbahnhof
In ProductionYou ARE the station master — build, repair and run a growing railway hub with your own two hands.
“I wanted a tycoon where you're not a spreadsheet — you're the person standing on the platform at 6 a.m.” — Alex
Hauptbahnhof is a top-down 2D management sim inspired by Factorio, Prison Architect and Transport Tycoon. You start with a single track and a bare platform — and you are not a floating cursor, but a station master with a body in the world, who walks to where things need doing.
The design pillar is what German players call the Wuselfaktor: the station must feel alive. When a kiosk earns money, a real simulated customer walked there and bought a real item. When stock runs low, a courier carries a crate across the concourse. Everything the economy does is something you can watch happen.
This is one of the projects that made it out of the prototype lab and is now in production, working toward Early Access.
