Kilomoana Games · the games label of Kilo Moana
Hi, I’m Alex. I make games until one of them steals your evening.
Kilomoana Games is a one-person studio. I build playable prototypes to find the ideas that are truly fun — and the one or two that prove themselves get made for real.

What I’m building right now
These are the prototypes that survived the fun test. They get my full attention — every system, every sprite, every sound.
Hauptbahnhof
You ARE the station master — build, repair and run a growing railway hub with your own two hands.
“I wanted a tycoon where you're not a spreadsheet — you're the person standing on the platform at 6 a.m.”
Management / Tycoon Simulation

Ideas being put to the test
Each of these is a playable answer to one question: is this actually fun? Some will stay experiments. That’s the point.
Mall Simulator 2D
Build and run your own shopping mall — solo, in co-op, or competing against your friends.
“It started as a joke between friends: could we run a mall together? Turns out — gloriously, chaotically, yes.”
Building / Economy Simulation, Co-op & Competitive Multiplayer
Der Disponent
A hardcore logistics management sim in the spirit of the classic German business simulations of the 90s.
“For everyone who remembers Der Planer and just got a little misty-eyed.”

a note from me
Why so many prototypes?
Because fun can't be planned on paper. I've read too many brilliant design documents that turned into boring games — so I stopped trusting documents and started trusting playable builds.
Every prototype on this page exists to answer one question: does this idea make me forget the time? Most of them will answer "no", and that's fine. That is what prototypes are for. The one or two that answer "yes" get everything I have — every line of code, every sprite, every sound. I design, program, test, balance and publish alone, and I wouldn't want it any other way: when you play my games, you're playing exactly what one person believed in.
If one of these games makes you feel something — curiosity, greed, the need to build just one more thing — I'd honestly love to hear about it.

your turn
Play something. Tell me what you felt.
Development happens in the open — new builds, milestones, and honest post-mortems of the prototypes that didn’t make it.
