NEULAND

Prototype

A Settlers-inspired build-up strategy game where every plank and every loaf of bread is really carried through your settlement.

“I have loved The Settlers since I was a kid. This is my letter back.” — Alex

NEULAND is a love letter to the classic Settlers games: a slow, satisfying build-up strategy game where goods do not teleport. Every resource is carried by hand, flag to flag, along roads you design — and the flow of goods through the settlement is the actual puzzle.

Under the hood the whole simulation is deterministic and headless-testable: the same inputs always produce the same settlement, verified by automated replay checks. Eight milestones are complete; enemies and the military game are being prototyped now.

Key features

  • Roads, flags and carriers — the classic logistics dance
  • Fully deterministic simulation, verified by replay checks
  • Economy chains from woodcutter to toolmaker
  • Explorers, geologists, mines and a coming military layer
  • 2D top-down pixel art
